Hey I’m Emma!

I am the owner and director of ELEVATEdance.

I started dancing when I was 4 and have been performing and choreographing ever since. Dance is something I love to do. The thrill I get from performing is an incredible feeling I can not describe. I have studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. In 2018 and 2019 I was nominated for scholarship Hip Hop. I was one of the top 120 performing Hip Hop students in New Zealand. Since I started teaching my passion for dance and helping others develop their skills has only grown. I am honored to be a part of my students lives.

Hey I’m Bri!

I teach Hip Hop and Acrobatics and Tumbling. Dance is a passion of mine as I’ve been dancing and performing since I was very little. I have been performing from the age of 3. I thrive when dancing and love teaching others what I know. Growth and improvement is something I love to see in my students. I love to push students to their limits and see the satisfaction on their faces when they have achieved. I graduated in March 2018 after completing 3 years of Circus and Dance, achieving my Bachelors Certificate in Performing Arts. I have acrobatic, dance and personal training skills.

Hi I’m

Emma T!

I teach the Kidsdance Hip Hop classes as well as Preschool! I’ve been dancing at Elevate since 2011 and have done Hip Hop, Contemporary and Dance Experiment and completed NZAMD exams for Hip Hop and Contemporary. I also received a NZAMD Hip Hop scholarship nomination in both 2018 and 2021 for outstanding performance. I have attended many Hip Hop dance competitions and placed second at HHI national final in the school mega crew division in 2020. My love and passion for dance has only grown since becoming a teacher and getting to learn with and inspire the new generation of incredible dancers is such a rewarding opportunity. I'm always looking for ways to grow as an individual and as a dancer and encourage my students to do the same.

Kia Ora I’m Caise!

I teach Intermediate Hip Hop. I’ve been dancing for 18 years now, all of which have been here at Elevate dance. In that time I have done many performances, competitions, acting seminars and dance exams. I started when I was 4 years old and my passion for dance has only grown since. Dance is my escape, it’s the only thing that I always come back to no matter what I’m doing, where I am or how I’m feeling. In 2019 I was 1 of 3 people given the opportunity to work with Disney Channel in Hollywood, acting & dancing which opened my eyes hugely. Becoming a dance teacher has given me the chance to uplift others and push them to their best potential. I absolutely love watching students perform my choreography. I aspire to inspire and I hope to be someone that my students look up to when it comes to performing arts.
